I love this. Fantastically original and very clean e240 V6 with nearly a years test (and a wisp of tax) €575. This would make a lovely old thing to smoke around in for a while for €500 (or less)

Price maybe a little high? But he's probably got this in the back of his head "This Year clutch with flywheel, new intercooler,new battery, all around suspension serviced. I spend 1300e this year ,all with receipts.", and if it's as well kept as he says it might be worth it?

Only that im looking to move up the years id have a look at it. Wouldnt expect insurance to be too kind on it though.

With the photos, ideally what you want is 8 pictures of the outside, at 45 degrees from each other, i.e:

I'd get rid of the pic of you holding the NCT disc too.

Mention any service history that's on the car, new tyres etc, how long you've had the car. The mileage is very low for a 12 year old diesel, so a lot of people will be wary of that, especially as it's a UK model.

Would be worth putting it on donedeal too. It's the biggest marketplace for cars.

That's really just a figure pulled from when the likes of a diesel Passat was €4-5k more than a petrol to buy new and the tax was bigger - you'd have to be doing mileage to justify the extra spend. At this price level and since diesels became cheaper to tax and smaller diesels became more common it makes no odds. Obviously if your driving doesn't suit a modern diesel or you don't want to take on all the inherent complexity and likelihood for expensive repairs -then that's a reason not to.
