Turns out I have no PS2

Spent two hours yesterday looking for one for the little man as we got loads of kids games for them.

I found min 10 gamecubes
10 PS1s
8 N64s
12 SNES
4 Nes
2 Sega master systems
3 megadrive 1
5 megadrive 2
1 maga CD
1 Sega Genesis
3 Sega Saturns
6 Dreamcasts

I stopped counting then settled on a game cube

I need to flog the unboxed dupes

Gave donkey Kong a go. didn't go down well.

So apparently Mario kart, micromachines , Spyro, SpongeBob Mario party are all "bad games daddy"

So it was back to knack on the PS4

I couldn't hack the "what's loading mean daddy", "why", "why", "why"

No need to leave my collection to anyone.

Brought the 3 year old to the Barcade in Cork and he really enjoyed it. We were there for an hour and he'd little sign of getting bored which is good going. They've got a nice setup and all the machines worked perfectly.

You guys notice they did away with success fees on adverts? I sold a couple of things recently and noticed my phone wasn't being spammed with texts requesting money for success fees.

So decided to bust out the Saturn to play Nights ... Can't find the TV cable! So I'll have to hold off a but longer. Any other leads I have here is RF.
Where would I get one? I can put a scart into the TV I have if that's any good.
Same for the Dreamcast so I may as well sort those out now.
I used to just swap to the old crt TV but I think it's broken.

So funny story, set uo the DC with the old TV, it won't read my back up, I looked for a real gane and there it was - Saturn cable. Just deciding what to play had a go of Parodius.

No idea why my DC won't read any disc, Sega comes up and keeps goimg bavk to the set up menu. I automatically say lazer because I have bad luck with them.

It looks like a regular CR2032 but it's not, it's a rechargeable one. So just be careful not to put a regular CR2032 in it.

Nah luckily the vmu uses regular CR2032s so you can stick them in fine.

I always just got mine on eBay, they're the same as in SNES and Megadrive carts. Should be cheap as chips.

Cool, I can give it a look tomorrow, I got my RGB cables at least, VMU might be the least of my problems but using my own TV will make it a whole lot easier.
Is it just Royal Mail can't airmail batteries, I know there was trouble sending them out but I can't even remember the last time I had something sent to me with some.

You can get those CR2032 in Tesco's, but you don't really need them in the VMU if is only for save states. The VMU needs two batteries and eats through them as its doesn't power off with the console.
