Official Conor McGregor thread (part 5)

The last thread was nearing the 10k post limit where boards explodes so here's part 5.

Usual rules apply. Read the forum charter if you havent, no fighter bashing or allegations of PED's etc.

Any "Do you even train Bro?" or "I'm an mma fan longer than you" type posts are not permitted either. They only make you look like a fool and as a result, everyone hates you. Yes everyone.

But he is ponderous on the feet.

I could easily see McGregor being taken down and grinder into oblivion for 5 or submitted.
I could also see Khabib getting slept handily on the feet.

That's the nature of fighting in Russia.
Does it mean his early record is padded? Yes.
Does a padded record mean he isn't legit? No. He can only beat whoever they put in front of him.

I would pick Conor to beat Khabib...

Few ifs.......he's neater, faster and rangier. I think he could time him, slow the pace and strike him out of there....Neatness and clinic-ism win out.

You genuinely think Conor would be lucky to make it out of first round? The likes of Pat Healy, Gleisen tibau went the distance with Khabib. If Khabib is to finish Conor surely it's in the latter rounds?

It's a good fight and I hope it gets made. I say Khabib will fight Ferguson before McGregor

McGregor IS afraid. If not afraid of Tony or Khabid, but of another loss and losing his title. That's why he's intentionally pricing himself out of the MMA market. He knows Boxing promoters won't want to know he's alive once he loses that Belt.
