Oh god yeah. Ms Fonda holds a special place in my adolescent ruminations. I'm not that old,

just that her flics would show up on the relatively regular in Saturday matinees on BBC2 in the late 70's early 80's. I remember seeing an early 60's flic called Sunday in New York and she was the female lead and oh I was so into her. Then I caught Barbarella(on a Spain to Tunisia ferry of all places) and was hooked.

I like that she was more beyond the hair, teeth, max factor, playtex and fame. For a start she's one hell of an actress. She was and remains a woman of her own mind and it got her into trouble, sometimes serious throughout her life. Being Henry Fonda's daughter and Hollywood "royalty" she could have easily gone the trust fund, do a few flics, marry the right thick necked exec while he screws his "assistant" wife and ease into the lap of luxury BS way, but she didn't and never played the victim with it.
