I reckon a break of two months between road races just leaves one rusty and if there were a follow-up 10 mile race in a couple of weeks (like last year) and no hamstring troubles, both of us would run a lot better and would have been more competitive. The latest one keeping me company being 'An Irishman Abroad'. The episode released for Christmas made the first 10 miles of my long run so interesting. It's the Enda O'Doherty episode.
