It's clarified now that is was a 63 series the poster saw, not the 651 model which is very different in terms of panel lighting etc. and other features.

Yea that particular Sony had a 5 year warranty. I'm just saying in general get what ya pay for.

There is quite a difference in specs across their range.
The 651 at 55 inches gets edge lighting with local dimming (local dimming missing on the 49 if you compare on the LG site)
Also, the 651 is a 2017 model.

That usually means that the computers have t caught up with the amount of orders. If there’s no code then there’s nothing reserved. I know this from personal experience and from a friend who worked in Argos, Jarvis Street.
