ok il try Dela and get back to ye also i have heard the harbour hotel is meant to be expensive but very good so if there better than the Galleon il be shocked and happy

It gets mad busy if you go at lunchtime you'll probably have to wait, especially if it's a Friday. Worth the wait though.

Maybe it was mentioned but Griffins do a great fry. Lovely sausages from hertriges (spelling?), plate is full, and the toast is their own toasted bread. I'm a big fan of it.
I had the breakfast sausage bap in caprice a while back and it was piss poor.

Sampled Dela fry up on foot of recommendation here. At best Average. Bacon way too salty, mushrooms over cooked , sausages average and a long wait from order to food. Setting is really nice but why people are raving about the fry up is beyond me. Friends, Gourmet tart etc are far superior breakfasts.

Had breakfast yesterday in An Pucan and was very impressed. Good sized assuages, lovely rashers, black n white pudding, scrambled eggs and spicy sauteed spuds. Very good coffee too. 91/0

Had breakfast in Dela on Saturday... Good feed but the weakest part of the breakfast was definitely the sausages and the tiny cups of tea... The rest was delicious though

Tiny cups of tea?? That puts me right off. You need great big mugs and a scalding pot.

two places i have been recently enough:

sliding rock do a good brekkie. plenty on the plate. well presented

the creamery (in salthill) does a great brekkie. you can do swapsies too ( my missus will trade her pudding for an extra rasher). i have gone here a few times recently. i used to always just pass it by, but the more i go the more i like it
