blade1 wrote: » That's it yeah, thanks. So, it does seem like an nova issue. Although the white bar is present when using the keyboard with stock launcher.

Overall, I really like this phone. I'm somewhat underwhelmed by the "Basics Bundle" I bought with it though. Last night I went looking for my headphones and extra dash charger, but discovered in my rush to buy it was not part of the set. The back that comes with the Basics bundle is pretty useless if you ask me. The front screen-guard is ok (although I need to re-seat shortly -third time lucky hopefully!) but the back is too rigid and slippery. I've gone back to the clear back that comes with the unit itself. I had been looking for the silicone back when purchasing, but couldn't find it -either I was too panicked or it wasn't there. I will have to re-purchase on there soon and probably pick up an extra charger too ..maybe headphones. ...There should've been headphones in the pack though!

emmetkenny wrote: » I don't like the stock launcher. Icons are too big. I set this up using Nova with scrollable bottom row and pop up folders in the top row. I also have gesture shortcuts set up for Spotify, Hue App Camera and a few others.https://photos.app.goo.gl/rTNANJaFhShhM4m13

Gunther_Gloop wrote: » You can customise the grids, icon sizes, install different icon packs, set gestures, etc. on the stock launcher too. I like Nova, but I'm still trying the stock one -it's actually very good. There are 2 things that slightly "bother" me to date... 1. I haven't been able to find how to move the homepage. I like my homepage to be "between" other screens -at least one on either side of it. So far, I can only have it as the first 'grid screen' to the right of the memo-type screen. (?) 2. Making a phonecall shows favourites by default. This isn't bad -most of my calls would likely be to these people -but I need to press another button to bring up the numbers. Don't like that. My HTC One M8 had numbers by default, with favourites available with 1 'screenswipe right'. Samsung phones, I believe, have a numberpad with a scrollable list of favourites/ recents overhead. Either of these is preferable. I don't think Nova gets around this though (?) -Kevin.
