I always understood that you were not suppose to sell stock within the withdrawal period. However, I have sold stock that would have been wormed/fluke dosed prior to the expiration of the withdrawal period but I would inform the purchaser prior to a deal been done. It appears that the goalposts have now changed and you can now sell medicated animals as long as they are not going directly for slaughter or milk/eggs for human consumption.

It says for slaughter (meat) or sale of animal produce e.g. milk/eggs.
No- It does not rule out mart sales.

About 2 weeks grass mapped ahead of them here on the farms dryest ground if the weather doesn’t get really bad
It’s to turn very cold at the weekend into next week which will put paid to that if it snows which it might

Milked oad for first time this year ,got the bug or just plain lazy take ur pick !!!!!,going to stick at it from now to dry off .cows we’re at 15.08 Ltrs 5.03 fat 4.09 p last test ,houses fulltime since last Tuesday be interesting to see where solids and yield go

I find they really drop yield wise and it can cause mastitis. I'll b dry in 9 days as new machine going in

Ya, I'm seriously considering it this yr, I had to cull a couple of heifers in the spring that picked up ecoli mastitis, I know improved hygiene could have helped, but it was during peak calving days. Thinking of calling in the hoof paring lad wit the turnover crate to insert the sealers this yr.
