Smurf, ha you are very very kind. Sadly my little one spotted her mam's wrecked EK one from Christmas so wants that one. Its not a big deal and she will forget...eventually but I was just wondering why I didnt get one the last few times I flew.

In summary grown man is moaning over not getting freebies and wants said freebie but the ladies version. It should turn heads on the plane.

"Sled Driver" by Brian Shul is an excellent book about flying the SR-71. Many of the stories from it are published periodically online/FB etc.

There are plenty of PDF copies available to download online, or if you'd rather have the bard copy, there are some available on Amazon for big bucks.

Short enough book but a brilliant read.

The airline reported a ground handler had put a plastic clipboard onto the cowl of an engine and forgot about it. Later debris was seen being ejected from the engine's tailpipe.

I note that Ryanair have given up the BFS-LGW route and won't be back on it after cancelling the route for the winter and will instead introduce a service from Belfast to Stansted in March.

Any ideas what will happen with the slots? Do Ryanair get to keep them or are they going back to IAG?

They would revert to IAG, if there was any option to retain them it would require an awful lot longer than they held them for.

Also, Gatwick is going to have a bucket of slots available due to the Monarch court case.
