Did you ever find out what caused the squashing of the text in the list of recordings on the pvr page?
I have the same problem,i noticed this after installing openvix 6.4. It was fine when using 5.4. I'd have to flash back 5.4 to double check that though.
The column that's reduced in width or squashed is the date recorded column. I've tried changing so many settings many times but can't seem to fix it.
I'm using skin: slyk-1080-r19
When you are in the section with your recordings press menu check that font size is at zero and number of rows is default, press green to save, exit out then go back in and ... report back
But if you have done a lot of tweaks on other menus it may cause problems elsewhere.
A pic can be useful as well. I don't have your box
By the way Vix is at 6.4.011 now so check your version and you can update via remote these days if box is connected to internet.

I did exactly as you suggested but no luck. I also upgraded to 6.4.011,no luck there either. Been trying to switch to other skins and back again but that didn't help. This issue doesn't happen with all other skins I try.
This slyk-1080-r19 skin is great otherwise and we like it a lot,but this one problem is a pain.
Would love to hear other ideas.

I still have notes from when I was playing around with this skin and I had the same type of issues. That skin has context sensitive menus for everything. Whilst in recordings , hit the setup button and you should see options for row heights , column widths , etc. You fix the issue in there.
I had to change row amount from 20 to 10 as all recording names were squashed vertically , also had to adjust column width for the picons as they were far too wide , lots of empty space either side so reduced from 150 to 100 , service name was also too wide , reduced from 250 to 150.
By the looks of things you need to increase the width of the recorded date column by at least 100.
Also, and as a rule with enigma2 boxes , changes don't usually take effect until you reboot the box.
Ok its a pity I did not have the pic from beginning. I did a bit of looking and yes Openvix latest needs a few tweaks. This is the way I got it after doing a mod called movie planner.
So if this suits I can show you what to do but do you know how to FTP to box? Can you install a local extension?
The file format is called IPK and I have my own way of installing. I use WINSCP for FTP. Have you windows or Mac?
PS You can load an IPK via USB stick as well, just came to me.

When you say reboot I'm not sure if you mean a restart of the GUI or a reboot of the whole box.
I'm very interested to hear what you're thinking about next steps. I work in IT so uploading stuff to the box is easy for me.
Are you sure?? You have to install an IPK file and change a few settings when in the planner. to get the effect in this pic you edit some skin file components.

It seems workable to an extent, it's different.
I'm getting the feeling I might not ever get the recorded date column the way I wanted, as per my original screenshot.

Did you look at my last pic and how does it differ from 2022!! When you install the mod you then configure the planner and for that skin select SKY PLANNER and change a few more to YES/NO . And that is the link for the mod and there is another thread where KIDDAC shows how to edit/configure.

Picons on the left (width set at 100), then the event name,
but everything else after that was squashed into the recording date column including
red recording icon, progress bar/icon, lenght of movie etc.
When I was on OpenVix 5.4 this issue didn't exist.

I installed the Movie Planner Mod 2022, selected SKY PLANNER layout and tried changing many settings in there.
Then I uploaded my screenshot of what I achieved using that mod

No I wouldn't really be happy with what the pvr page looks like after installing that mod and I've explained why.
When I have more time I think I'll have to flash my box back to openvix 5.4 and grab a screenshot to show what my pvr page looked like
to demonstrate what the look I'm trying to maintain with 6.4.
Good idea but if you do flash back to 5.4 and planner is as you like it, the FTP to box and copy over the directory for that skin, you will find it under USR/SHARE/ENIGMA2/SLYK 1080 R-19, copy the whole directory, then when you flash back keep a backup of the new directory and replace it with the old. It may work and at least worth a try.

Hope you can see the attached image of what it looked like.
Picons, event name, recording status, movie length, full date format - with adaptive date display as well.
At this stage I think I'll just stay with 5.4 because it's been exhausting trying to maintain this look on 6.4.I only went to 6.4 because I thought other things would be better.
I gave up on the " fake sky" skins a while ago , they are more trouble than they are worth and will all break or be broken at some point.
I use the default openvix skin and its fine.
+1 on this. You can go back years and see the one skin that always causes trouble is the Sly clone.
