Following on from the trivial things that annoy you, I hope we can start a thread on trivial things that make you happy.

I love pushing the button for the lift and the doors open right away.

Being able to walk straight down an escalator or up it without people standing in the way.

Being bale to sail down the driving lane and use the passing lane without lane-hoggers or slow drivers.

A good thread on boards.ie

when the bus is there as soon as i arrive at the bus stop or train as soon as I arrive at the platform.

when the parking spot that I usually park in in the local shopping centre is free.

What makes you happy??

The landlord has agreed to let to us, we got the house that we wanted!! 24 month lease and we have to pay a double deposit because we have a cat but who cares, at least we know he won't be trying to kick us out any time soon and usually we have to hide the cat from the landlord so now it's all out in the open! I've been browsing IKEA online for furniture all day. I've never had to fully furnish a place before, I feel like a real adult now :eek: Quick, I must do something irresponsible!!

Don't recall where I read it but beans on toast is supposed to be the ultimate in healthy eating. What the beans lack the toast makes up for in some way and vice versa. It's supposed to have pretty much everything dietary wise and the other plus is is that it's cheap too.
