Aircrafts have different amounts of fuel on board, previous aircraft likely had much more fuel and could hold for a prolonged period.

It's also entirely at the crews discretion. If they feel they'd be safer/better off to divert from DUB, they'll do so.

Looks to be a few on the way back to DUB now.

The wind isn't letting up either where I am. I would imagine it's worse at the airport as it's quite open.

No, Aer Lingus regularly send the A330 to Malaga during downtime between transatlantic operations.

KL951 is a normal flight number as is KL937 - it doesn’t appear to be an extra.

KL951 operates on Mondays & Wednesdays, due out at 15:05 local (operated by Cityjet).
KL937 operates daily at 16:05.

The first was simply an hour late.
