Is there a technical glitch today? I try posting, but nothing appears and no error message presents itself. I must wait about 5 minutes between posts for them to show up. I assumed this was my net, but it doesn't seem to be... Anyone else having issues today?

Do you get redirected back to the thread? Or does the page continue to load after you attempt to post? What browser and OS are you on? And have you tried clearing out your cache? Thanks.

Yes, I would post and immediately the thread would appear but, no post would appear even after refreshing the page. I tried this five times in a row and nothing. So I just let it sit for five minutes. Others I chatted with were going thru similar issues. For me, it seems to have resolved itself over the weekend, by the way.

Yes :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: I CONSTANTLY clean my caches because of those endless :mad: captcha behests Boards likes so much (sorry, it's just frustrating!) I've mentioned captcha being an issue to Dav & Niamh in the past, and they suggested it's "only temporary until whatever security in the area is resolved"... Sure, but it never seems to get resolved for long, it's an ongoing issue... Often, nay ALWAYS when I post or PM for more than a five minute period, I hit "send" and boards takes me out of the system entirely, requiring me to re-start with the cloudflare captcha nonsense. Then after I comply, :mad: the screen goes blank and never recovers, I lose whatever I had typed into the PM or post. This is pure maddening and sometimes

it is not worth the struggle.

I use Boards Legacy, though Google, with Chrome OS on a shiny new Samsung Chromebook.

The NO posting issue is happening again.

An example admins ....If you can see this (in a private forum), please note my post was quoted but it didnt show up when I posted it and is not showing up when I refresh the page.............why?

The thought is that this could be related to your machine or connection, as we can't replicate it ourselves and haven't had multiple complaints along with diagnostics that might help us resolve this issue. If you know of others who are experiencing this, please point them to this thread. Details like operating system, browser, site version, threads where it is occurring, and more can also be quite useful.

Ok Mark, thanks, will ask them to post here when it happens to them again (others indicated it happened over the weekend so). The threads were in private forums, btw.

But, LOL I have a magical machine that can (somehow) invisibly post (as the quoted message indicates) with it showing up in my stats, yet it not be visible on the thread - chromebooks are amazing! :eek:

Thanks for trying to replicate it. Wish my magic machine wasn't so adept at it.
