Milk goes fast in my house so more than likely wouldn't have a chance to go off.

No, we go through a few litres a day in my house, so it's always fresh and always check the date when buying.

No. In the house I grew up in, the neighbour's had a tree and a seed must have fallen into our garden. It grew quite large. We had it for about 10 years before my parents were doing up the back and got rid of it. I remember i didn't want them to.
