Never got the Audrey Hepburn thing either. Yes I can see she's obviously beautiful, but comes over as somehow bland, anodyne. A sex symbol without the sex. Grace Kelly had much more of the undercurrent of sex going on. With Sophia Loren it was very much an over current.

Pretty gross alright. Though it's much more about fantasy. That's the creepier bit for me, that this is what appeals to enough men for it to be a thing.

Iceland of all places I'd add to that list. Though I'd not say "extremely higher percentage". That's more a fantasy than reality in my experience. Bigger populations will have more people who are good looking(and not so good looking) and certain features might be found in certain populations that tends to more attractive people. Though generally I've noticed that such features can go either way. A more extreme nice/not so nice. It also depends on personal tastes. If you're into good looking Black women Russia's not going to be the place for you.

That's the thing though, I have no interest in celeb culture at all and genuinely wouldn't have even heard of many of the people mentioned, or if I have it'd more be as "oh yea, wasn't she in <whatever film>" rather than "yea, she's gorgeous alright"

Even looking at some of the pictures posted here I genuinely struggle to see the appeal of some of them.
