I'd say your main preparation would be to build a fallout shelter
in advance. These have to built to very specific standards to withstand
the shock blast and keep out gamma rays. Food and water for two weeks. Air intake and exhaust pipes and air purification system. Generator and diesel supply. Deck of cards.

Agree with this, Rocketman™ is over in NK and about as far away as you could wish for.

There's more chance of directly being affect by any of the following: Niribu (due today Google?:23rdSeptember2017), MegaVolcances (Yellowstone or Naples), 100meter+ Asteroid impacts (that sure would make a bit of a mess), Pole-shifts (very unlikely), the GCanaria landfall, XC100Solarflares etc.

But just in case, this is all you need for 6mths:

1) 1,000L of <4oC chilled, filtered and restructured water
2) 180 Tinned Soups (variety, but remove labels for some extra excitement)
3) 40kg of Flahavans Organic Oats (can't beat it)
4) 1,080 tins of Guinness (provides most of your nutritional needs*)
5) 180 cartons of Orange Juice (*the remainder of the nutritional needs)
6) A nice aftershave, some flowers/club(opt) in-case all the niteclubs are still closed after 6mths of the Tribulation and re-seeding is needed.

I'm just on Tesco home delivery now and they have none of that italian filtered water I like bit looking good for the rest ... now to pick a good delivery time. Lots of club points on this !

You do realize we live next door to the United Kingdom? They are just as bad as the Americans for war. While there is no signs of a imminent nuclear global war,. Wars between countries will continue to be a real thing. Eventually countries with nuclear weapons will clash, when and where? North Korea clash with the United States has the highest probability right now of being a shooting war with nuclear weapons being used?

And it's not north Korea that you need to worry about, It's their Chinese allies who would be obligated to take their side in a conflict.
