Garda Trainee November 2017 intake

Might as well fire this one up, I think it's safe to say most of the August invites have been released to most people. Congrats if you got one! (Don't take my word for it, there does be ad-hoc invites sent out!).

So the journey continues on for the others like myself.

Hopefully it's November for us. I will pop the FAQ in this post once I get the chance.

So let's continue as the August one might get taken over by the guys with intake related questions!

Best of luck everyone that will receive offers this week. It's been a long road for some of us and even longer for others. What will be, will be. I am hoping for February myself now.

Called hrm and was told theyre trying to get the first 100 offers out this week. Was told my oom was a good one at just under 400 but with people from previous campaigns it could make it tight. She said a few times to keep an eye on my email so hoping that was a hint ðŸ˜‚

The suspense is killing me all the same. I can only imagine how eager everyone is who has been signed off and waiting for that all important email from HRM.

Sorry to hear she failed on the fitness, especially after getting that far. Could I ask what part of the fitness test she failed in?

Yeah me too, she did so well and had an OOM of 82, It was the bleep test she failed

Just rang up HRM there, file awaiting sign off, only passed the PCT last week so any hope I had of making November intake has faded.

Why thank you and was so sorry to hear that. She should be rightly proud of getting to that point and with such high marks. Many never get that far at all.

Starting to think those that work in hr haven't a clue themselves. Never realised how much junk mail I do get until today. Every time the phone beeped I thought it was the offer I've been waiting years for. Ah sure what's a few more days.
