Advantage of being able to go to grass in Feb and make use of first year of grass is what keeps base under autumn dairy calves.

Will the top brass be getting their bonuses after such a fine performance?
The shares are worth nearly €4 less than a year ago and €2 less than at the last spin out nearly 3 years ago meaning the value of the company has fallen considerably under its current management

I don't do defending glanbia but there was an "analyst" on the nt business programme one morning last week bemoaning the unseemly drag the large farmer shareholding in glanbia was having on the share price. Beyond that I have no idea why share price is where it is.

funny they trying to hamper a fella starting up...thats ireland for you well put you down if you try get ahead, wernt they in trouble a few years ago for animal cruelty with the exported calves if memory is correct they got closed down for a while/license withdrawn from department

They guys want to buy directly off farmers for exports. Corks marts would loose out on all that commission. Cork marts are objecting to several points of the planning permission, Surface water run off, traffic movements etc.

270 retail so you'll get them down to 250 maybe 240 if you have a bit of pull so with the rebate it would come in at 220 even at the price its still 30 odd euro plus to expensive, it's really only a fibre source plus a way of getting calmag into cows very little feed value

We are in a purchasing group for feed. I ordered nuts and got charged the normal price in error. €284/tonne for 16% nut! Who pays that for feed?
