Loving the OnePlus 5 so far except for the fact that I'm not receiving my Gmail notifications unless I manually refresh from within the app. Same issue with Facebook & Twitter but I'm not bothered about those. Thankfully WhatsApp is grand. I've Gmail sync turned on, all notifications on, battery not optimized for Gmail etc. but no joy. Any ideas appreciated

The receiver on the earphones is on the right hand side, so that makes a bit of sense. I've tested the earphones with other phones and they work without issue, so it's not them. The bluetooth signal strength just seems to be pants on OnePlus phones in general, as I had issues with the OP2 connecting to the car's bluetooth before this.
