What has happened the area from North Earl Street across O'Connell Street down Henry street?

Street Preaching should be restricted like any other 'Street Performer'.

The Irish for the most part rejected organised religion in the last 20 years and I find it sad to see these new religions take a hold here.

I don't want 'Jesus will save you' shouted at people walking down the street.

I hate organised religion, I agree that religious people have freedoms under the constitution but organisations/businesses should not.

And Religious Organisations like Iona should not be tax exempt.

To clarify, there were numerous groups yesterday including some sort of JOHN:27 Choir/Samba Troupe outside Arnotts with amplification.

I saw a Jehovah's Witness stand in Ennis yesterday with religious pamphlets. You often see them in other towns.

Can't say I've noticed it any more than usual. There has always been religious/cult groups operating in the city centre. If anything it has decreased imo. I don't know when someone last offered me a free personality test. And sure you'd miss the lad on College Green blowing tunelessly into his recorder with his "I play for Jesus" sign.

The only one that intrudes on me going about my business is some angry oul lad with a microphone telling everyone they'll burn in hell and picking out individuals to personally insult. But I just assume there's something wrong with him and get on with my day.

Today there were 4 or 5 distinct groups on Henry Street from Debenhams up to GPO.

Seemed excessive. Should they not be restricted like buskers?
