The reality is that the Fiesta is worthless for a number of reasons. The -> 2001 model is now very very outraged and undesirable, that coupled with the 15+ year old car insurance rule makes it's target market really really small.

That and even with a budget as modest as €650 you are competing with the likes of this.

It's the newer shape, still in the insurance friendly age bracket, tested until 2018 and has alloys, leccy windows, sunroof etc. Yeah she's 1.4 and has a couple of dents but I'd take it hands down over the previous model.

Your problem is that people find it hard to insure cars over 15 years old these days, a lot of insurance companies are refusing to insure them.

Lately i've seen a lot of decent cars just left in garders considered worthless because of their age.

My focus is now the same. It's a 2004 taxed, nct and a spotless little car but worth so little and not a huge consumer group it's probably better off left in the garden as a spare incase my other car breaks down.

Would it be worth advertising it for sale?

Insurance companies won't make huge profits and the government won't make money on VAT and VRT on new models

It's too old. You'll have to further reduce your price by a good bit. Try 350.

I used to buy them for 50-100 a pop and put an nct on them very easily

Ya but I wasn't referring to the price and rather the post. I don't see anything insane about it even though the car is overpriced. It seems it will be tested too btw so it should be sold with a new test.

I really don't understand this affection. They are too ordinary to be classics, and are too unsafe (lack of airbags, crumble zones, abs etc) to be daily drivers.
