Following on from the trivial things that annoy you, I hope we can start a thread on trivial things that make you happy.

I love pushing the button for the lift and the doors open right away.

Being able to walk straight down an escalator or up it without people standing in the way.

Being bale to sail down the driving lane and use the passing lane without lane-hoggers or slow drivers.

A good thread on boards.ie

when the bus is there as soon as i arrive at the bus stop or train as soon as I arrive at the platform.

when the parking spot that I usually park in in the local shopping centre is free.

This will probably make me seem a bit mean but...this morning I got a text from the girl I work with, asking if I was okay. I told her I was grand, but when I got into work at 11am, she said that she had a dream that I had died of a heart attack, and in the dream she was wandering around, looking for confirmation that it was true. She woke up in floods of tears, and said that she must have been crying for a while in her sleep because her nose was all runny.

Anyway, I'm trivially happy that she cares that much!
