My suspicion is Conor will come out in round 1 with his arms wide in the air like the Mendes fight and start talking sh1t to Floyd straight away. "You hit like a b1tch", "No wonder you're only knocking women out" etc. But he'll still be methodical enough like the Eddie fight, not taking any crazy risks. It's one thing dropping your hands and letting Chad Mendes puck the face off you, it's another letting Floyd do it. Conor would need to be an absolute moron to underestimate him. He knows well how good Floyd is so I just can't see him swinging for the hills. Floyd will out-land Conor for sure but I don't think you'll see Conor being rocked or wobbled every round.

Anybody thinking he will fight Tony or Khabib coming off Mayweather are off their rocker. There's also no way on Earth it'll be Diaz 3 either, that'll be tucked away in the back pocket in case Conor loses. I think Dana's plan is either December 30th Conor v GSP to shatter all UFC records or Conor v Woodley on the November 11th MSG card.I've been wrong plenty before but I don't think Conor gives a monkeys about defending straps, he just likes winning them.

There is easier money/glory to be had in virtually any other fight. He doesn't want to have to go another 5 rounds with Diaz and have to batter his own foot to bits again......which is exactly what he would have to do. He left the arena against Mendes, Aldo and Alvarez smiling....he left the arena after Diaz on crutches. He got his revenge, he won't be going doing it again. GSP or Woodley will be the fights he goes for. Yes, Woodley could knock him into orbit, but Woodley can be knocked out and Conor knows that. The prospect of the WW belt probably also appeals to him. Diaz pretty much cant be stopped. It's a terrible match up for Conor and he knows it. And Diaz doesn't have a belt. There is zero chance hes fighting him again. Also regarding Maia, I very much doubt Conor would fear him. I'm a Maia fan, but his boxing his amatuerish and always has been. He is getting tagged on the way in for sure. Thats how Kavanagh would see it and I don't think they would run from him if Maia has the belt by then. Personally, I think the size would be too much and Maia could very well take him down and end it.....but Conor is nothing but not self-confident. He probably fancies his chances of tagging somebody so sloppy on their feet.

I wouldn't have statistic, but the arms and hands and throwing of punches are probably the most natural form of attack-combat known to man.
