What make of gin should I buy.

It will be for gin & tonic.

There is a lot of talk about Hendricks, there seems to a certain cache about it,that could be publicity. Some people have bought into it.

Also is there a better class of tonic thzn another?

Fevertree light.
Slimline suggests it's full of artificial sweetener like Schweppes slimline. Fevertree light essentially has less sugar than their regular one.

As tonic goes, I like it.

Yeah I think you're right. In my defence though the only other time I tried neat gin it was berthas revenge so maybe it was just the initial strong taste that was similar. That's my excuse anyway.

Cheers, will def check out OBriens Newbridge this week. I was in Naas at the weekend but they had a tiny selection, only Tomas Henry regular and cherry, and the Poachers Citris, and about 5 bottles of each.

I had some Blue Bottle gin while away, I only ever saw it in the hotel i was staying in.

Quite nice, not spectacular, but I would have picked up a bottle had I seen it on sale in a shop/duty free.

Are there any Irish stockists of it ?
