I wouldn't expect Conor to be much bigger on the night, maybe he will be allowed to pump up but there is an inch in the height difference and I would be surprised if he looks overly bigger on the night. Mayweather was much bigger then the likes of Pacquiao/Marquez too, he doesn't do much rehydration cause he doesn't need to, he doesn't rely on his size. As far as I'm aware he also hasn't released a fight night weight in years! I wouldn't put too much faith in McGregor's footwork posing many problems, its pretty bad for boxing.

His chin is solid, but again Mayweather doesn't do one punch KO's it will be accumulation that will be the problem.

As long as the fight is on the level its a glorified spar in my eyes, sure maybe the Irishman can shock the world once more I suppose...

From what Dana White was saying, I don't think there's a maximum weight gain clause.

Conor usually cuts 24lbs to make FW (145) or 16lbs to make LW (155) but I suspect for this fight he'll cut 19lbs (173lbs).

His nutritionist George Lockhart usually moves over for 8 weeks to do all his meals and the whole weight cut is impeccably done.

I can only see this going one way. Floyd wears him down and it gets stopped mid rounds. McGregor just won't be able to last 12 rounds unless something dodgy is going on.

He knocked out none of them because Mixed Martial Artists have a decade of experience in recognising and blocking kicks.

When Conor lifts either his lead or rear leg to kick he has tremendous dexterity in his hips - he can whip it to the leg, body or head in a heartbeat. It's not telegraphed and it takes years to get the timing of WHERE the kick is going. Floyd might hold a high right guard expecting a left high kick to the face and in the meantime Conor has converted it to a question mark kick or wheel kick to the other side of the dome.

Yes, Floyd would be unconscious inside 30 seconds in an MMA or street fight.

What are you on about in fairness?
Boxing itself is a sport. This "event" is not.
Similar to how an overmatched novice boxing at your local club show is not a sport if the more experienced fella is allowed to batter him senseless. I have seen some cases where a relatively inexperienced coach allowed his boxer to take stupid punishment. That's not sport.
