quotes including bord bia
am holding tough as hoping for 4.25e/kg

Probably factories usual stunt when cattle are in short supply, Drop the price and farmers will throw cattle at them.

Factories down here are backed up solid with cows this week. Hard to get them killed.

I thought heifers were 4.30 this week. Sent off 2 heifers this morning in a load of bullocks, i must see what they come back at when i get home tomorrow night

Factories pulling prices in a week or two, well i never heard that before:pac:

But do cow prices not usually start to drop from now on most years. Haven't been in a mart in two weeks but dealers were falling out over cows, always a good sign. If they were mine i think I'd be moving them on now.
