I find that people who have done wrong in their lives but reform are more likely to be accused in the wrong than people who are "goodie two shoes." Having previous form makes someone much more likely to be wrongly accused of something.

Basically BJ's and shagging videos. Sold thousands and made thousands of pounds as well. One day at about 6.00 am there was a loud banging on my door and the UK Customs threatening to kick the door in. They accused me of importing obscene material. Went to Crown Court. The judge threw out the case as 'Not in the public interest'. I think the fact that police and councillors were among my customers might have had some influence on the judge.

Few weeks have passed I'm still friendly with the newbie girl and the xmas party is on the 23rd so we're all geared up for this and as usual we drink a lot. An eventful night follows with a bit of a arguement with snake lad but nothing serious he made the right decision and backed away before it got worse. Few weeks later newbie girl is blanking me and I've no idea why...until I walk into work and the manager pulls me aside hands me a sheet with accusations from a married supervisor that I told newbie girl we were sleeping together and hooking up in the work building! Swapping pics etc! As you can imagine my head was spinning trying to figure out wtf was going on. In the investigation I was told the details, newbie told management the reason I was in her hotel room was because I helped her bring boxes back there, I said why the fcuk would we have boxes at our party! Newbie girl has used a story I was telling her about a woman I'll call J I was texting as part of this so had to sit there and tell management the gory details I gave them her number to ask her to back me up which she did, they checked my phone to see if I had supervisors number which I didnt, I printed off my phone records to show I was texting and ringing newbie and the J and had asked security in the hotel to provide CCTV of the night (they only had cameras in the lobby ) to prove there was no boxes which would have shown newbie to be the liar she was. I had a 2 year old to look after and sick parents to deal with as well so needed this job to pay child support/rent so this pissed a lot of co workers off and a lot of them wanted to back me up. In the end it was decided that there wasn't enough proof to prove one of us was a liar and it was put to an end there and then......the reason she done this? Snake lad told one of newbies paranoid coke head friends I was slagging them off behind their backs, newbie and coke head came up with a plan to make the office hate me but it backfired when fat head gossiper told the supervisor, I found all this out after I left, I actually get on quite well with snake lad now who I'm renaming alright lad Coke head tried being friends with me again but I blocked her on fb etc, newbie I cant be bothered with ever and turns out she started pulling fake sickies after/ she also sued her old job for bullying so can only imagine that was probably waffles too.....Oh and I sorta got revenge by stopping her getting another job elsewhere Sorry for the long post and for anyone who knows me......Hey :pac:

Murrisk wrote: » A friend of mine and I worked in a supermarket the summer I was 19. One day she was off and my manager said to me that my friend had some tax due back to her (around €150, I think) and asked whether I wanted to tell her or head up to pay roll and get it to give to her. I paused for a moment, then said I'd get it for her. Not sure why when she was back in the next day. That was my fatal error. Such naivety. Went up to payroll where there was waiting area separated you from payroll with a door with a keypad that only certain people knew, and I certainly wasn't one of them. Someone from payroll came out and I asked about the tax money. They went searching and came out to me to say that they couldn't find the money at the time so to come back. I just texted my friend to tell her and forgot about it. She could collect the refund herself the next day, I thought. A few days later, my friend told me that they had given the money to me. I was like "Errr, nope" and told her what happened. I should point out two things at this point. In the payroll waiting area, there is CCTV and also at this time, we were paid by an actual cheque and when you got your cheque, you signed for it in a book in the waiting area. So my signature would have been there that week due to picking up my cheque. Anyway, my friend investigated further. My manger came barrelling over to me at the end of the day and asked why I hadn't given my friend her refund cheque. I told her what happened. She said "You signed for it!, I saw your signature!" And I was just totally shocked. I was a callow 19 year old who didn't stick up for myself like I should have. My friend thankfully believed me for which I am forever grateful but it is utterly crap to be accused of stealing and not be believed. I don't know why I didn't stick up for myself more. Firstly, CCTV would have shown me going there, talking to payroll and then leaving without being handed anything. Secondly, if there was a signature by me from that week, it was from my picking up my paycheque. Why did I not ask to see the CCTV footage to corroborate what happened? Why did I not ask to see the signature book to show that there was only one signature by me that week and to see if someone else forged my signature? 19 year old me didn't stick up for myself adequately but 33 year old me would! I left the job a few months later. My friend worked there for a few years more and told me that a few of the management still said I did it. Now I still wonder, who exactly DID take the money? I have always suspected my manager. She was all over accusing me and had access to the secure payroll room, and I wonder why she even told me about the tax refund. It really had nothing to do with me at all. Why not tell my friend when she was back in work? The whole thing makes me upset to this day. Having your good name dragged through the mud is the worst and it troubles me that someone was happy to do that to me. Plus my friend was a student and to a student, €150 is a lot of money. She missed out too because of someone's dishonesty. I couldn't put that job down as a reference either. I couldn't wait to get enough jobs behind me afterwards to not have to include a reference from there. It doesn't matter any more, it's long enough in the past for it to no longer have any effect on my life but it is still absolutely gut-wrenching when I think about it. My friend and I drifted apart as often happens but I wonder does she ever wonder if I did it?
