Posted this elsewhere, but I know some of you boys and girls are frequent fliers so maybe 1 or 2 of you might know something:

Will be travelling through Stansted on a Saturday morning (10/11am) in a couple of weeks with a 2 hour connection time between 2 ryanair flights.
I understand you can buy fast track last-minute if there's a huge difference between the queues...
Just wondering if anyone has found this helpful in guaranteeing making a connecting flight on time?
(My return trip a week later, also a Saturday, will involve passing through the airport at around 6pm with a 110 minute connection time)

And yes I'm aware of how these connection times are ultra-dependent on flights running on schedule etc.!!
All I'm curious about is hearing from anyone who has any experience of Stansted's fast track particularly in relation to Ryanair connections?

Are you going to be going out into arrivals and then back in through security, do you have to do that with Ryanair?

Either way, that sort of time wouldn't really be something that'd concern me, I'd think you should be fine so long as the first flight is on time

I've had some inefficiently slow security queues in STN. You should get out quite quickly on the way from Ireland, however on the way back I'd definitely use the fast track as you'll need to go through passport control which will slow everything down.

Yeah from what I've read that's what needs to happen.
From everything I know so far we should be ok on the way out at least.

Is it not the same both ways given that my final destination is Spain? (I.e. not leaving the EU.)
I would expect full standard passport control stuff even when staying within the EU.

This is more of a Schengen Issue than an EU thing.

No. Going from Dublin to STN you will leave without going through passport control. You will then re-enter through security and have your passport checked at the gate (probably) and in Spain. Coming from Spain you will need to go through passport control in STN to leave the arrivals and re-enter into departures. That might be quick enough but it could easily take 20-30 minutes. Depends on how many flights are coming in at the time etc. It's to do with the Common Travel area.

Wouldn't be the biggest yachting fan. It sounds like it's actually good value but I'm a bit tired of the America cup. NZ public seems to be folllowing it closely enough though.

There are ancient nefarious forces at work in my house that conspire to dis-harmonise the sock situation. It oddly only affects the boys though, all female socks seem immune from selective banishment.

Fair play to him, he has managed to manufacture a fight against one of the best boxers ever, without ever fighting a professional boxing match. In the process he's going the earn 10's of millions of dollars. What ever about his fighting skills, his marketing skills are second to none.

From a money point of view it's a good deal for him but from a sporting point of view this is a charade.

A charade for Mayweather who will hit the 50 by beating someone who isn't too far off a bum in boxing and a charade for McGregor who is chasing the cash and appears to have no interest defending his belt.
