So is every company intentionally screwing up their E3 conferences in some weird, new and unexpected marketing ploy? It's a bold strategy for sure.

I think this looks really exciting. Brave of them to try something genuinely different and there hasn't been something like this risked since Super Mario RPG on the SNES.
