With Fitzey in charge we are sure to have plenty to talk about.

There's plenty to work with in Wexford at present and if Fitzey can get Guiney back playing to his 2013 potential it will take a lot of the scoring pressure off Chin.

I think there is more in Conor McDonald if he is coached properly.

Is Andrew Shore due to make a comeback this year? Another player that could make a big impact.

One thing for sure for 2017, Wexford are going to have huge support.

Liam Dunne in fairness done a good job , Davy Fitz has the X-Factor that Wexford have been missing and this might get them up the rankings and a Leinster final appearance would be great progress over next 2 years.

Hurling needs a strong Wexford again and I am convinced the talent is there.

Trouble is, which Davy are they going to get? He's won the top prize, he knows what it takes, he's shrewd enough to assemble a good backroom team and smart enough to delegate accordingly, but he's his own worst enemy. The finger is always hovering over the self-destruct button. For a man who claims he doesn't care what anyone thinks, he knows what EVERYONE thinks. He's far too entrenched in the siege mentality everyone's out to get us nonsense, which works up to a point, but eventually players tire of that.

There's plenty of potential in Wexford right now and it would be great to see them push on, I wish them well but it's a lottery with Davy in charge. It's a gamble, but in fairness, sometimes a gamble pays off...

Mad to see how many showed up for a game against UCD reserves, but great to see. The Davy Fitz effect in full swing!

Looking forward to see ye in Carlow on Sunday. We are missing 4 or 5 of our best players due to college commitments & injuries but hopefully will give ye a better test than UCD did. Colm Bonnar i'm sure will try keep score down against his former team.

Be great to see Wexford build on the u-21s & now with Davy Fitz in charge, that can only help.
Promotion from 1b, a good win v Kerry/Laois or Westmeath sets it all up for a crack at Kilkenny in leinster semi.

Shore and Liam óg would be starters, would Tomkins?
Shore is a massive unit, great fielder.

Tomkins possibly wouldn't be a starter if everyone was fit but he'd be a useful option to have. I presume Shore and Tomkins are further along in their rehab than McGovern as the latter played the relegation final for St Anne's last autumn while injured and prior to his operation, albeit off the bench.

Galway could be missing a few through St Thomas' club commitment and Limerick have an awful league record.

Just an aside, a couple from last year have gone missing. Namely, Paidi Foley is on a year out I hear but where are Andrew Kenny and Eoin Conroy? Neither seem to be featuring.

Fair deuce to Wexford. Amazing result today and with the greatest of respect to Kerry, Offaly, and Laois, i cant foresee any of the three giving Wexford much trouble so i think you have a foot in 1A.
Davy has done terrific work in such a short space of time. Is he a long term solution? time will tell but he will definately set a great basis for the county going forward and may give the existing coaching structures some valuable insight.

The why not is Galway. We beat them Sunday but I am afraid that they are that bit further down the line than ourselves. We are also a bit light up front were we to lose Chin or Mcdonald I feel.

1957 apparently since Wexford last won at Nowlan Park. Be great to see them put it up to Kilkenny and get within 3 at least.

Hopefully Wexford can put it up to Kilkenny again and we get a great game. Kilkenny will be far sharper but if Wexford can make it a frustrating stop-start game they will have a chance.

From the County Board re Leinster Hurling Final tickets:

Clubs who wish to purchase tickets are asked to have their order with us by 9am on Friday morning next.

Tickets will be seat specific so it is vital when ordering family tickets that you have the exact number of Adults and exact numbers of Juveniles as when they are printed they cannot be changed in that area and families could be split up. There are no concessions/family tickets on the Hogan Stand.

General Tickets Sales at Innovate Wexford Park will start on Monday next and will continue daily thereafter from 2.00pm-4.00pm each day. On Monday next June 19th there will be late selling until 8.00pm and should it be necessary additional late evening selling will be facilitated.

Tickets will also be on sale at the other usual outlets - Tickets.ie, Centra & Supervalue.

Cusack Stand - €35
Davin Stand - €35

Hogan/Cusack/Davin Stand - €40 on the day of the game

The Wheelchair Ticket are free of charge and the Assistant's ticket is €35
