"With the stakes high in more ways than one, the Critérium du Dauphiné will take the pack from Saint-Etienne to the Plateau de Solaison for its 69th edition between 4th and 11th June. Several weeks before the Tour de France, the main favourites will do battle, in particular on a hitherto untried climb up the Alpe d'Huez. The three times winner and title holder, Chris Froome, will be up against rivals who have shown themselves to be sharper than him since the start of the season, such as Alejandro Valverde and Alberto Contador, but also Romain Bardet, Dan Martin, Richie Porte, Esteban Chaves or Fabio Aru"

It doesn't kick off until Sunday, but I'll admit I'm already pretty excited.

Looking forward to seeing how our Irish guys get on also.

I think they mentioned about how the Tour is showing the complete stages so they can see the break forming, which I took as the host broadcaster not showing the complete stage tbh.

Really annoying how long it takes them to get videos up for replay on the player if at all for the non GT events. Don't think they bothered with Belgium a week or so ago, did they even air it ? I'm convinced they showed stage one and then didn't bother with the rest.

my feed only had that uci feed that has no commentary but on twitter people were saying they had commentary. multiple tennis channels and they couldnt give 1 channel over for cycling with commentary

None on ES Player, normally I wouldn't expect any there but seeing as they had no live coverage on TV I did expect to hear Kirby. Indeed on Sunday the player feed had commentary.

When I looked last week it was in the Eurosport 2 schedule, but now it's gone :mad:

Seems like it's not back with live TV coverage until Thursday, and it's live on Friday & Saturday also.

There was a diary in Monday's print edition covering 1st stage.

It seemed to be patchy about which Sam Bennett diaries were online for the Giro.

Yeah Swift wasn't happy to play second fiddle if i recall at Sky. I'll link the article if i can find it , but he should have known what he was getting into with sky and did stay for 6 years. Landa is looking like he's not content to take the cheque either at the minute and has bigger aspirations.
