Now stuff has become more complex(often needlessly I would argue) which has an effect and more stuff is "sealed for life", but much of the time you can sort out many problems in short order. Especially now that we have google/youtube that will show you how. Though maybe it's like cookery and gardening programmes and people want to watch rather than do?
