I noticed on the fibre roll out map all around us are yellow lines except the bit of the road we live on, (a cluster of 10 houses) the yellow line is on both sides of the houses but magically stop for some reason, my luck.

Current one is normal slim white wire that is not something you would notice.

I know it uses Eir broadband but I presumed it was seperate and not counted as part of the download allowance. Another major reason to never go near Eir's TV service, not only does it take away some of your broadband speed, but also eats up the monthly allowance depending on how much tv you watch.http://www.boards.ie/ttfthread/2057741969

eir Vision works off your broadband however, it wouldn't affect your monthly usage. It would only affect your usage if you are downloading movies from our on demand service.

These services are not in any way an abuse of using an internet service and should not be looked upon in the same light as someone downloading more torrents can they can possibly store or use. It would make a big different to the 1tb fair usage policy with these streaming services exempt, the 1tb allowance should be just for 'downloading' e.g. games, large files, movies and projects.
