True but O'Callaghan came out the field more. And was largely unchallenged outside the square so he didn't manage his man well in the second half.
I stand by my opinion that he had a great first half and not so good second half. There was only a point in it at halftime. They ended up chasing the game as they coughed up a bucket of scorea against the wind at the start of the second half

The Galway square was not well policed in the second half and he didn't follow his man out either, he'd have been better off doing one of those tasks well. O'Callaghan would be a difficult man to watch for the whole game all the same.

The scores Dan O'Brien got were very accurate but again not a hand near him

I had a feeling it may only be the one, as there had been no announcement on his future for a while, but a further two years is great news for everyone.

I love this time of year. You can get all kinds of cheap digs in at other counties, coz no one is really paying attention yet. Phony war and all that. The nervous breakdowns, the meltdowns, the catfights, the crippling fear of impending doom, the crushing disappointment of yet another championship season over, before it really started, is all far off on yonder horizon.

Unless you're from Meath, that is. If you're from Meath, all that $hit is just around the corner.

Not necessarily. (Unfortunately.) I think this is Danny's second year in the US.

Is there a master list of club championship games/dates?

In particular anything listed for June/July. Dublin website only lists fixtures for the next week or so which is frustrating or maybe I'm not navigating the website properly.

Are you looking for something in particular?

Try http://www.dublingaa.ie/competitions

Fixtures are all sorted by competition.

Par example, click on the first one http://www.dublingaa.ie/competitions/fixtures/115566 (Adult Hurling League Division One) and you'll get all the fixtures betwen now and September.

Other than the games next week, there'll be no champo games until the seniors are out of the AI series.

Adult leagues are the default setting. You can filter for other categories.

I would settle for August myself.

Non-smartarse answer: 32 Teams start the Dublin Senior Championship. It's a knockout championship. Two rounds are played before Dublin begin their Championship and then the Quarter Finals played after Dublin are finished.
It's a terrible system.

PP renewal process has come up in the world, I had trouble thinking of 2 delegated ticket collectors mind you :rolleyes:

Did you get yours yet?

The designated collector is a new innovation. I was asked for ID when collecting tkts for daughter and brothers last year. I suppose they have to be careful.

No haven't received them yet Bonnie - wondering whether to chance me arm in the Naul Friday and the triple header in Parnell Saturday with the old one.

DCB seem to have a far greater oversight on ticket distribution the last year or 2 - with the old PP punched with a hole after the league ticket collection this year.

They accepted punched passes for first round so you should be okay.

Handy game for Vincents, Na Fianna never bothered tight marking Connolly and paid the price. Mossy still has it too.

Thought it was there for the taking for na fianna for a short while, but the experience of vins pulled through. Connolly was unmarkable for a 20 minute period in the first half. Na fianna were very tactically naive.

If na fianna had of scored either goal chance when four down could of put it in the melting pot. Shane carthy was excellent, covers so much ground.

Jude's and ballymun for me the only ones who can challenge them. Crokes are hit and miss as are plunketts I feel. Was at Jude's game tonight, they had two sent off so not sure if that affects them the next game in champ or in league? Anybody know

Yeah was at the Jude's/Skerries slapfest myself - disappointed with Skerries, thought they'd offer a little bit more. Straight red is a one game ban from the comp it was received in so Kev Mc is out
