Thats a serious amount of rust on that roof. It's unusual to see a roof in that bad of a condition and on that car the roof skin doesnt look to be easily replaceable either.

Looks very like a roof rack was fitted and caused rust to speed up in those areas.

This one for €4200 has been around for a while also. Ad says it requires "a few small things". Don't know if the spec is as good as the one you posted but a 3 litre with manual could be a bit of fun, even more so if you added a sportier suspension set up.

If the oil cooked, you are looking at a serious money thrown to have the gearbox fixed...

You have to wonder why these "few small things" were not sorted prior to selling the car considering it would increase its value and enhance it's desirability a bit. The seller also has a Peug 207 with some issues too so I'd be very cautious as claims of small issues usually turn into big bills.

Yeah I suppose there's usually a reason for such a low price. Compared to other '08 6 cylinder 3-series it's about 3 times cheaper than anything else on Donedeal, although the others are all coupes/convertibles or 330/335s so it's hard to directly compare.

They were sold here as the Sprinter for a while but in small numbers as they were not too far off the price of the Carina II. Lad at work has a 94 one he brought over from the UK years ago, still going well.

They introduced them as a run out lower spec 1.3 Corolla Liftback in 1992 just before the newer model Corolla appeared.

Niiiiiice, remember looking for a used one of those back in the day, maybe in 97/98,were like hens teeth, couldn't get my hands on one.
A neighbour has a 91 version in everyday use, she imported if from Ni, has it since, and listening/looking at it it's as sweet as a nut still.

They were sold in the UK. That's the model that one of the lads at work brought over with him years ago from the UK, it's a 1994 like this:

The rear always reminded me of the Mazda 626 hatchback at the time. I'm nearly sure they sold them here for a short time as a Sprinter.

A 3.0 S type using the same engine is faster and RWD. Not necessarily that much a drivers car though.
