**UPDATE June 2015 **
We are still accepting players into the game world.you can PM me if you need any help in getting started.

We have created a Soccermanager.com league world for the Boards.ie members only. It only launched on 24th of March 2013 and new members are always welcome.
If you would like a team in it, then register on the site and then search for game world ID:174426 to view free clubs. If you want a club then click "Apply" and post in here your user name and which club you applied for and ill accept you into the world ASAP.Or else just PM me with your email and ill offer you a job

As alot of the big clubs are already managed players who join now will start with a small team and try too amass as much manager points as possible as down the road when teams become free we refer too manager points and the manager with the most points who wants the job is awarded it.it is easyier too get points with small teams then big teams as this explains

The success that you achieve with your club is rewarded in the form of Manager Points. They are awarded for wins, draws, league titles, cup titles and you get additional points for winning or drawing against a team that is stronger than your own. For each respective feat you are awarded the following based on our manager point scoring system:

Win: 3 pts
Draw: 1 pts
Lose: 0 pts
Win against stronger team: 5 pts
Draw against stronger team: 2 pts
League Title: 10 pts
Cup Title: 10 pts

The Manager Points that you are awarded will be accumulated during your time as manager of the club. This information will also be recorded and displayed within your Profile and Club History. If you manage to accumulate enough points then you feature within the Best Managers list.

Please note that if you move to another club due to either accepting a job offer or resigning then your Manager Points will not transfer with you. However, they will still be displayed within your Profile alongside the respective club you accumulated them with.

I took over hanover after they were pillaged and it went from my least enjoyable game world to probably my most.

As long as the lads can still approve who joins and it not just random muppets then it could be a good thing

Thats true tbf.
I took over Flamengo after they were pillaged(although I don't think they had anyone of note anyway) and buying from unmanaged was just after being turned off,couple of season before it was turned back on.

TBH, that's already the case. I have no idea who the Rangers manager is, and also the Espanyol manager certainly isn't a Boards user either.

I'm sure Chivas' last manager as well wasn't a Boards user, and there may be a couple more.

There's no real issue at the moment with allowing it either anyway as the only reason why other managers would have set up a duplicate account (which was the initial fear) is to sign decent players from these clubs. Obviously now that buying from unmanaged is allowed, that's no longer an issue.

The match ended 1 - 1 between Estudiantes de LP and Internazionale in their Division 3 fixture.
Ki was on the scoresheet for his side.

A Ki Special rescued a solitary, and frankly disappointing, point at home to Inter. At least it still keeps me top but I fear this is when our descent begins.

OK, Mane and Dembele seems to be on everyones order today.

I'm saying this to everyone so far, but I'm not 100% committing to any deals yet till I see whats on offer. Both are sellable, and I'm leaving the best bids for the time being (while rejecting the ones that aren't as good).

Estudiantes de LP beat PSV 4 - 2 in a thrilling Division 3 encounter.
Belotti scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.
Bakambu and Balotelli were also amongst the goalscorers.

A good win in the Netherlands. Omer Toprak also scored. Still top and level on points with unmanaged Werder Bremen. We're six goals better off though. Come on! This will be our year! #Liverpoolesque

Tough game next though against Espanyol who beat the side that I thought would be the ones to beat this season in Celtic.

I think so too. I mean, there's no longer a major incentive to set up a duplicate account now that unmanaged teams can be bought from.

The only reason this may happen now is if a person has no money to bid on youths so they take over another club from another account to use their funds.

One would hope though that nobody would be such a twat as to do something like that.

So yeah, I'm okay with those new applicants being accepted.
