Spiral steel scourer. It replaces bleaches and other assorted cleaning products and it doesn't rust, it lasts ages and costs about 40cent for a pack of two or three.

And my wooden sweeping brush. I don't know where all the dust comes from but imagine trying to clean the floors without one. I don't use a vacuum cleaner, mainly because there are no carpets in my house and they never lasted long before losing suction when I used to use one.

1in3 Oil would be better than DW40, it is a light multi purpose oil while the other is a water displacement oil.
