Even from a 2km egg Pineco is a disappointment.

I got booted from 3 of my local gyms today and when I went for a walk (these eggs don't walk themselves) I discovered that the gyms are still standing , still level 10 but I guy shaved me from all three gyms

Bucking cheaters (likely, I can't prove it).

I've had roughly 10% 10k, 25% 5k and the rest were 2ks. Hatched a Tyrogue and a Shuckle this evening, nothing better than that today.

I have that happen regularly

I used to try put a variety of pokemon in gyms, even if it meant I was at the bottom. Now I just put in my highest cp, no matter how rubbish they are, to prevent being shaved.

I'm instinct and just need Tangela from Gen 1. My brother is instinct and just needs Aerodactyl. We were out walking this evening and he hatched a Tangela and I hatched an Aerodactyl

Im Instinct aswell, completed gen 1 pokedex in October - wish I could say I did it without spending money on the game

That is exactly what I do, I try to put in guys that will strengthen the gym. So no Gary's, Rydhon or Dragonite (unless there are no other Dragonite). But guys like Poliwrath and smaller 2.3k cp Snorlax's who will be pigs to fight against.

So much for strengthening your team.

I was in town the other day, and there was a kid battling one of the gyms for a solid 20 minutes, trying to beat a Blissey. If the gym wasn't Valour like me, I'd have gone and helped them.

Got shaved from a gym on Baggot street over the weekend. Assumed the gym was lost. Placed my highest CP mon (2805 Gary) there but walking by this morning, the bottom mon was a 2820 Blissey :mad:

Should see one of the gyms in Shannon, spent half an hour leveling it up so could put my blissey back in. The gym already had 4 blissey in it, and is now up to 5 blissey in a lvl 7 gym. Even had to use up most of my dust and Machop candies to power up my fighting machine :P

Shaving has advantages. I am not doing it, but I can see the CP and quality of mons in gyms is substantial thanks to this rotation. The only two gyms i am in in cc have 2800+ blissyes at the bottom.

If they were not shaven they would fall.

Of course it has it's advantages for the people higher up the chain. It just sucks when it happens to you.

Was down in my local park the other day, and went to a fairly remote gym to prestige it and pop a mon in. As I went to click into it, I could see it was being prestiged already, BUT, there wasn't anybody nearby. At least definitely nowhere near close enough to be prestiging the gym.

So I just waited a minute or two for the space to open up and I sniped it

Am sure they just opened another space though, as it was only Level 5 or 6 but I didn't feel bad sniping the spot!

Yeah, I'm up to 11 and only 1 (the first one thank god) had HP as its best stat

Picked up two more 5kms today - first was another Totodile, if I can get just one more egg Cyndaquil it'll push me over the number of candy I need for Typhlosion.

Hatched my third Chikorita today and my third that has poor IVs. I haven't hatched a Cyndaquil yet but have two 5km eggs going so I'm hoping for a high IV Chikorita and Cyndaquil.

I haven't played in about a month and I just opened it today to see I'm still in 2 gyms! No idea where they are, I was in about 6 gyms when I stopped playing.

Thought wr were meant to be getting increased candy from hatches too?? Iv hatched 3 Grimer this event. I now have the princely sum of 37 candies. Not sure how many I had before. Last one gave me 11.

Same has happened with most of the eggs ive hatched, 8-10 candies have accompanied more hatches than what id have expected with this event, bit disappointing but have had some lucky hatches at the start of the event though which has kinda made up for it

Hatched my first Cyndaquil of the event today, with 16 candy. Two more candy to go to Typhlosion! Also hatched another Dratini and a Larvitar, the candy from those are always welcome

Three new 'mons added to my Dex today.

Hatched a Chansey which gave me enough candies for Blissey (Bit disappointed with her GO though)

Hatched a Tyrogue, which gave me enough candies to evolve one (turned out to be a Hitmonchan - This was before I knew about the appraisal trick).

And hatched a Miltank, which brought my Dex total up to 205. Still desperately seeking Lapras though. (And Togepi. And Larvitar. And shiny Karp!)

Up to 830k XP this event so far, pretty pleased with that - lets see if I can get to the million mark before it ends on Thursday

Hatched Smoochum, Growlithe, Psyduck, and Gastly today. Smoochum is a new one, and Growlithe gets me a littler closer to Arcanine at least.
