I 100% agree with you, people who come here should have compulsory English exams before they get citizenship and if they fail they should be deported. Their English doesn't have to be perfect but I believe in assimilation not multi culturalism, if they want to come to Ireland then they should make an effort to fit in.

While it's certainly not helping, it's not a particularly big driver.

One of the big drivers is the fact that everyone's a fùcking victim these days, that everyone's part of a giant victim parade. These memes are spread through the arts, the university system and the media.

If you're a women, it's those evil men keeping you down.

If you're black, its those evil white men keepin you down.

If you're fat, its those evil skinny cùnts keeping you doen.

If you're gay, it's those evil hetrosexuals keeping you down.

If you're Richard Spencer alt right, it's the Jews and The Cathedral keeping you down.

If you're Muslim: it's those who go against the will of Allah and the non-believers who are keeping you down.

Islam is a victim religion allowed to grow and prosper in a victim culture.

So, you're a Muslim in a European country. You look different from the native population. You are statistically likelier to be poorer, unequal, all of that kind of thing. You'll find it harder to get on the ladder due to a plethora of factors. Then Islam comes along and says:

"It's not your fault, its the fault of the infidels over there."

So with this mentality, and with the observable fact that humans stick to those similar to them, you have groups pooling together. That group starts looking after their own goals and interest and when the gaps between groups are too large, you get madness.

The middle east stuff is a driver, an excuse for whats going on, but it's not the issue here.

I have read enough to see that " terrorists" dont fall out of the sky. They often start as ordinary people that are radicalised by either direct experience or family experience or just what they see as a great wrong being perpetrated. Many people are radicalised but dont go as far as violent action , but there is a minority that do. This is just as true in Northern Ireland as it is in the ME.

For a radical , hitting back against the " west " is sufficient.

I dont apologise for violent attacks, but dont think simply labelling people as " terrorists " without accepting that there is a whole linkage that cant be ignored is sufficient either

Again, this seems to be completely missing the point - if it was the US that caused the damage, why is it newly radicalised individuals seem to turn on anyone they can get there hands on? Gays, Yazidis, Hindus, Muslims of the wrong religious stripe? I didn't see the IRA make a big deal of targeting say Germans, for not boycotting the UK. This line of argument seems completely unsustainable. At best, the contention seems to be, 'better hope your Muslim communities get whatever they want, otherwise they will go crazy and start lashing out at everyone' - not a particularly kind argument I think it should be said.
