S-max would be fairly quick with all the seats clipped out, ( although 8 bolts for the occasional rearmost) and tax it as a crew cab / cool van .

That s-max is definitely a petrol head Daddy car, the same engine as the Focus ST. Probably 220bhp, but easily tunable to 250+.

I have to say I'm heavily heartened by the amount of good bangernomics posted in the last couple of pages. My '01 E46 bought in 2011 for €1,800 may be due a change soon, but she has paid for herself many times over. The only good thing about being used to paying the higher end tax, is that it doesn't put you off when looking for another bangernomics replacement. Keep up the good work chaps!

I'd say insurance companies raising premiums or refusing to offer cover on anything over 10 or 15 years old has a good bit to do with it too.
