There's been 100's of people killed in Europe since December 2015, triple that amount injured due to radical Islamic terrorism. Those are facts, it's real. This car argument sums up the left aptly, I really do think it's some kind of mental disorder, and if we were living in the UK, or France, or Germany, or wherever else, the discussion would be entirely different. Ireland is lucky in the sense that we're so far out nothing like the incident in the UK has happened yet, but if what i'd describe as fools in this thread continue ignoring the problem and they represent the consensus of the people in power, it's only a matter of time. I'll do everything in my limited power to prevent that, and the "Silent Majority" in the UK and US have shown me my beliefs aren't idiotic, it's the ones making the rules who are, and the buffoons who follow them.

I guess the question on a lot of people's minds is: will there be a wakeup? Will Western Europeans get moving. get out of this virtue signalling crap and get it into their heads that this whole thing is a massive existential crisis; that these terrorist attacks are symptoms; canaries in the coal mines for birthrates, takeovers, that kind of thing?

By the way, when I say wakeup, I mean do very simple stuff like having a controlled immigration and sensible border policy for a start. I'm not talking massive wars or anything like that.

In order for there to be this wakeup, you need TWO things to happen; both of which Islam is kicking the West's ass on.

1: An increase in Patriotism/Nationalism .
2: An increase in spirituality, or deep religious feeling; pride, religion if you want, or the ability and the drive to put yourself forward for cause x. The lads who will die for the 72 virgins and all of that.

Category one is happening all over Europe, but it won't work on its own. In fact, in some ways that is what fascism actually is: its an ugly, bolloxed artifical attempt to breathe Patriotism/Nationalism into a zombie of a country. Not saying fascism will happen again btw, just pointing that out. So it has to be authentic, people really have to feel it.

Category two is the horribly dodgy one that I'm really not sure on. People are increasingly nihilistic and apathetic, finding things and jobs and 9 to 5s to be just time killers, all of that. To trigger that feeling of pride/spirituality is going to have to take a massive cataclysmic event.

Either that, or you'll see a gradual Islamification of Western Europe in the coming years. It will just, sort of happen.
