I agree with that, the most influential terrorist organization in the 80's in a CIA report was the IRA because no one knew who they were and those that did kept silent. Nobody was ever caught for aiming a bazooka at MI5, and they never waved Snackbar flags. Amatures.

You distinguished being Irish from religion on the basis that the latter is an ideology. But the manifestation of pride in being Irish, or British, or whatever nationality, is nationalism. And that is an ideology.

Depends. PIRA doesn't but there are offshoots. They planted bombs during the queens visit. And wasn't a huge bomb found then? #

Not getting involved in this pro/anti IRA debate, but with regard to the IRA being poorly educated, I think you actually may be incorrect.

I recall reading from some terrorist specialist in either the UK or US that the sole difference between the IRA and Loyalist paramilitaries was the fact that whilst the Loyalists spent time exercising their muscles, the Provos spent time exercising their minds.

Are you retarded? Islam is an ideology. Being Irish doesn't automatically make you a nationalist. In fact, the IRA were socialists.

The claim was that if America are going to ban all Muslims because of their VIOLENT ideology called Islam, then America should ban all Irish people because they might be in the IRA. Not all Irish people support the IRA. All Muslims support the Quran, which has 110 verses telling them to kill non-Muslims.
Being Irish is not a choice.
Being a Muslim is a choice.
Being Irish doesn't make you an IRA supporter.
Being a Muslim makes you a violent ideology supporter.
That's what my post was about.

To be fair there was a photo of a guy with police training guns on him. He looked like he was from around the subcontinent or there abouts.

That's about all we have though.
