That was the London bombings which were designed to cause damage rather than death to make a political statement. As far as I recall one person died and this was a photographer who ignored advice to leave after a coded warning was given in advance.

Still terrorism, and certainly can't be condoned, but not the same as the extremism we've seen since 2001 which seems aims at the most number of casualties possible.

I refuse to accept the idea that these type of actions are to be expected as the norm in big cities, as recently said by the current mayor of London, a particularly odious little creep of a man.

The attacker today was a well known radical Muslim. These groups aren't even hiding in plain sight, they are almost going out of their way to make themselves known as such. It's the constant appeasers who turn a blind eye to these things which prevent a harder line from being taken. Perhaps it is time to clamp down on these groups in a stronger manner, and by that I don't mean round them all up and ship them out, or lock them up and throw away the key, but they can't just sit idly by and wait for tragedies to take place.

What exactly are these guys looking for? It just seems like random mayhem to me.

But this is a thread specifically about an attack by an English man from a Jamaican heritage. I mean either you are calling Jamaican's violent or I fail to see the relevance .
