How did I miss that this was back? One of the best shows on television.

Those ridiculous crossword clues alone were worth it!

Very good, some very clever word play, pretty good crossword and it everything tied together nicely at the end. Very different from the last episode. Maybe it was over done a little

Reece Shearsmiths character was a bit too sure of himself

I kinda think a lot of the comedy is on the fact it is overdone. It can be so unnecessarily melodramatic and weighty.

The only thing missing from this week's episode was the theme from Tales of the Unexpected, it really could have come straight from Roald Dahl.

Yeah did nothing for me.

Felt like they wanted a happy ending but fell flat

It was strange, disjointed and largely quite random, but did enjoyed the seldom happy ending.

Another episode coming up

That was very good, Keeley Hawes and Reece Pemberton both excellent.

I nearly preferred last week's better. Still a memorable episode, just didn't feel there was enough depth to an odd shoe story

Not sure, did sound like daughter at first but then moved on the talk a lot more about the man so maybe not

I thought Shearsmith and Pemberton nailed the notion of being driven to extreme behaviour having refused to accept death of a child in 27 minutes better than the Replacement did in almost three hours.
