An evo is a dream car of mine, Be a long time before I get to own though. An older one that had a hard life might come into reasonable money sometime in the future but who wants to own one that was driven to an inch of it's life.

They're around £10k in the uk, but 36% VRT on a probably €20k OMSP would mean it wouldn't be too far off.

There's a Brera Coupe on Carzone of similar age and mileage for €7.5k. I know this is rarer and the coupe is diesel, but more than twice the price seems high.

The mother bought her 2008 Spider 2.2JTS in 2012 with 18k miles on it and paid €15k I believe, could have been slightly less.

Cars were cheap for a while 5 years ago though.
There's a lot better ways to spend €16k, but what you'd get one for in the uk is usually a good yardstick.

Beautiful to look at but the 2.2 is underpowered IMHO. The petrols also have horrendously soft timing chain/tensioners - leading to stretching and then wierd timing issues, horrible lumpy drives.
I don't 'do diesels' so might opt for the 3.2 in a few years when this one wears out.....:P

I have a soft spot for them myself hence me browsing Carzone. The 3.2 would be nice, but prices in the UK are high and the motor tax here would be a killer. It's mad that we're incentivised to purchase toxic diesels when cleaner petrol cars are taxed off the road.
