Escorts?

Hi all. So here is a question. Is prostitution in Ireland illegal? I came across escorts Ireland website but I don't know if it is illegal in Ireland or not so I'm afraid of arranging a meeting.

I read somewhere earlier today that a law was passed which made it illegal to pay for sex so I really wanted to clarify this for myself. Thank you.

I could never understand why men go to escorts. I mean at the back of their head are they not thinking she is completely uninterested and faking everything? Its sad and reading the reviews on that escort site is even sadder with the amount of men who seem to idolize these girls and genuinely believe that these girls are in anyway interested in them. They're living in fantasy land, most of those girls probably see those men as absolutely pathetic and are repulsed by them.

I can never understand why people buy designer labels. I mean, at the back of their head are they not thinking this is completely overpriced cloth. It's sad and seeing people openly wear expensive clothing is even sadder with the amount of people who idolise a label and genuinely believe that by wearing them they're better people. They're living in a fantasy land, most other people see those in designer clothes and think they are pathetic and are repulsed by them.

Where would these guys who use escorts be getting their fix of sex if they were not going to escorts. I can imagine some would be abusing or forcing sex on women who are vulnerable. Where is a 50 year old guy going to get sex with an 18 year old girl, he can on the Escort site. I guess that has to be better than him abusing some young 18 year old who doesn't want to sleep with him.
I'm Mormon and never had sex, but I can see why people would use a service when there is a service provided. It's like any service, if some lady offered a topless house cleaning service then there will be many who will use her, just like many would use the normal house cleaning service.
It's like putting a wheelie bin in the middle of a 100 acre field, no doubt if you returned within a week it would be full, always people who will use something when it's there to use.

"Normal" women probably see them as absolutely pathetic and treat them as such. Any average looking guy has been cruelly put down by a couple of women in his time. At least the escort will be nice to them.

Lots of men in normal relationships are living in fantasy land that their partner actually cares about them and not their money.

Some probably just do it for variety. The difference is it's easier for women to get sex if they want it than men. And by the way I'd have no issue with male escorts for women.

Sex is a huge taboo in Ireland, & yes you can trace it back to the strangle hold the CC had on the country, Most of the major European countries have legalised clubs & brothels & are run on strict safe & secure guidelines.

I find nothing wrong with men who go to these establishment's for relief, In many cases married men go there because its not happening at home for what ever reason & instead of rocking the boat in what is most likely a good relationship they go get sex/relief elsewhere without attachments.

As for Male escorts for women, In Ireland that's a very secret circle, but go outside and its there, We all have heard of the women who travel to turkey & morocco to get them self's a toy boy, Its a huge business there for bored & frustrated women.

There's a certain segment of the population that get their knickers in a twist about gay men having sex and they can't stand it. However what two consenting adults do is nobodies business except theirs.

I see sex workers the same way. If two people willingly engage in sexual acts and money is paid, it's nobodies business except theirs ( and possibly the taxman).

I get the squeamishness. I'm a straight male. Although I have no problem with two men having sex I do feel a certain ick factor. I feel the same about paid sex. It's not that I think there's anything morally wrong with it (although it may involve cheating or other morally dubious areas), I don't think the actual act of paying for sex is immoral, it's just that I do feel a certain amount of squeamishness.
