American runner called Just’N Thymes. Yes, not kidding. Not the worst, but fairly comical. The parents must have been diehard track fans.

It's up there with another American runner, Autumn Fogg.

For me it's a girl's name! I have come across one or two Keelins, so in my head it's a girl's name, though I know it can be used for boys too. And the Keelins/Keelans I've come across are mostly from ultra-chavvy families so for me it's tainted...

There was a Nikita on that Tallafornia show, she is in her late 20s I would imagine. By association with her, that name is now well and truly tarred for me.

He dressed smartly, no make up, 5 kids but hung around with a bunch of scumbag corrupt Russian politicians.

how do you mean? Do you mean spelling their birth name differently later on in life or altering the spelling of an existing name and christening your child said "new version" Your name is your name? 99% of names derive from another spelling origin.

Sorry, but that's a perfectly valid way to pronounce it. It's an Irish name, and that's typically the way it's pronounced in Irish. If anything Col-um is less correct.

Seriously, something like John-Paul, you think its obnoxious to use the full "two syllable" version! Come on! Most John-Pauls in Ireland were named after the pope! I know the Catholic Church is an obnoxious Institution but that name couldn't be any less obnoxious! At the end of the day, it is their name and they spent their life calling them such! They are hardly going to have a shorter version on the tip of their tongue for public occasions!

You don't stop and think of your sons name before you utter it, it naturally is on the tip of your tongue! I understand ridiculous names but a simple combination of two names when christening your child, many of which have evolved into distinct names themselves over time: Sarah-Jane, Lizanne, etc is hardly breaking the obnoxious bank!

At the end of the day, your name is your name! There are some f'ed embarrassing names out there, some child abuse offences! But I don't think a Sophia-Lily should be in that bracket! Jer name isn't Sophia, her name is Sophia-Lily!

Sorry, don't want to rant but that is an example of faux outrage!
