Just laughing at this bill being sworn in, by a female of all accounts.

Basically it's

From now on, beatings of spouses or children that result in bruising or bleeding but not broken bones are punishable by 15 days in prison or a fine

Previously it was up to 2 years in jail.

I would welcome this arriving over here. Parents should be able to get the wooden spoon out imo.
