what do you know that we have never heard of?

Eg: you don't need to be great at maths to be an architect

this is obvious to me but everyone says to me "i wanted to be an architect but i was bad at math,i can barely add"

I used to work a lot in the aircraft leasing sector.

When you fly on a plane, the aircraft itself is worth feck all. Most of the value is actually in the engine, which has probably been split and/or swapped and/or substituted, with and/or between other aircraft, purely for financial reasons rather than out of any technical necessity.

I always found it a bit mad ... I wouldn't buy a car if the engine had been constantly swapped in and out like!

King Henry VIII is responsible for the harp on Irish coinage.

what about William Henry Harrison who died of pneumonia on day 31 of his presidency possibly as a result of a long inauguration speech on a cold wet day

Or Warren G. Harding , no autopsy, was heart attack or poison ?

So he formed a religious group and let them into a peasant rebellion. Oh, he also had two giant demon-slaying swords forged for him, as you do.

They believed in communist-like principles such as communal ownership of land, which would be fairly distributed by the state. They also emphasised equality of the sexes (but prevented men and women from interacting), and sent women to fight in the front lines.

He once wrote to the British Empire asking for them to pay him tribute since he was (logically enough, as the son of God) the new head of their faith. After he died the Qing Empire had his body exhumed, cremated, and the ashes shot out of a cannon so that his followers would have no grave to worship. (So much cooler than Hitler's fate!)

Ronald Reagan (elected in 1980) was the first US president elected in a year ending with a zero since 1840 who didn't die in office. The seven (of a total of eight) presidents who did were elected in 1840,1860,1880,1900,1920,1940 and 1960. Four were assassinated; three died of natural causes.

Willy Brandt was German Chancellor from 1969-1974. He was Mayor of Berlin when JFK gave his "Ich bin Ein Berliner" speech.

But his real name was Herbert Frahm. He fled from the Nazis to Norway in 1933 and took the pseudynom Willy Brandt to protect himself. He was in the Norwegian army when the Germans invaded Norway in 1940, was arrested but the Nazis never copped who he was.

He fled to Sweden and stayed there till the end of the war. After the war he was one of the few Germans who the Allies trusted and as he was so well known under his pseudynom by that stage, he decided to keep it.
